Job summary

SEARCHASIA CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations professional in Singapore to plan and oversee daily plastic injection moulding activities. The role focuses on meeting production schedules and customer demand while driving Lean and Six Sigma improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering and 7+ years of manufacturing operations experience, with strong injection molding expertise and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering is required.
• 7+ years in Manufacturing Operations are required.
• Injection Molding experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily plastic injection moulding operations to meet production schedules, customer demand and business targets.
• Maximise utilisation of manpower, materials, machinery and capacity while ensuring reliable operation of injection moulding equipment.
• Lead, train and develop operators, technicians and production teams through hands-on shopfloor leadership and performance management.
• Drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste and optimise manufacturing efficiency.
• Ensure manufacturing activities comply with ISO 13485, GMP, FDA requirements, cleanroom standards and health and safety requirements.
• Monitor KPIs and production performance and coordinate with Quality and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues and maintain material availability.

• Maximise utilisation of manpower, materials, machinery and production capacity while ensuring reliable operation of injection moulding equipment
• Lead, train and develop operators, technicians and production teams through hands-on shopfloor leadership, clear accountability and performance management.
• Drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, enhance machine uptime and optimise overall manufacturing efficiency.
• Ensure manufacturing activities comply with ISO 13485, GMP, FDA requirements, cleanroom standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Monitor KPIs and production performance while partnering with Quality and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues, maintain material availability and execute corrective actions effectively.

Requirements
