Job summary

RIGHT RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is assisting a global precision engineering and manufacturing company seeking a Production Supervisor for the Medical/Automotive mold sector.

You will implement production plans, oversee quality, and drive continuous improvements to meet deadlines. Requires a Diploma or NTC2 in Engineering, 2–3 years in medical/manufacturing, basic injection moulding knowledge, ISO9001/13485 familiarity, and MS Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or NTC2 in Engineering and leadership qualities are required.
• MS Excel proficiency and basic injection moulding knowledge are expected.
• 2–3 years’ experience in Medical, Manufacturing or related industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement production work orders and plans to meet operational requirements and deadlines.
• Ensure products meet customer quality specifications through monitoring and control.
• Monitor production processes and report deviations or changes promptly to management.
• Perform machine and mold setup following established procedures and molding data sheets.
• Maintain 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards to promote a safe and organized work environment.
• Control scrap levels and optimize production efficiency to achieve target outputs.
• Supervise packing and packaging activities to meet quality and delivery standards.
• Provide training and guidance to production staff to enhance skills and operational performance.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve operational issues and drive continuous improvements.

Our client (MNC) is a global advanced precision engineering & manufacturing company for Medical devices and Automotive industries.

Responsibilities

• Implement production work orders and plans to meet operational requirements and deadlines
• Ensure products consistently meet customer quality specifications through monitoring and control
• Monitor production processes and report deviations or changes promptly to management
• Perform machine and mold setup following established procedures and molding data sheets
• Maintain 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards to promote a safe and organized work environment
• Control scrap levels and optimize production efficiency to achieve target outputs
• Ensure timely closure of work orders to maintain production flow and reporting accuracy
• Supervise packing and packaging activities to meet quality and delivery standards
• Support troubleshooting efforts for quality, production, and tooling issues to minimize downtime
• Provide training and guidance to production staff to enhance skills and operational performance
• Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve operational issues and drive continuous improvements

Requirements

• Diploma or NTC2 in any Engineering-related discipline, possess good leadership, self-motivated, preferably Mechanical Engineering
• Basic Injection moulding knowledge
• 2-3 years’ experience/knowledge in Medical, Manufacturing or similar industry
• Knowledge in ISO9001, ISO13485, is added advantage
• Basic computer knowledge i.e. MS -Excel skill is needed
