Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical / Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to attend meetings across time zones.
• Familiarity with CAD, SAP and ERP systems; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage product data across the product lifecycle.
• Ensure conformance to customer specs and quality systems.
• Monitor and improve product quality performance.
• Lead cross-functional teams and RCCA for quality issues.
• Lead Change Management initiated by customers, suppliers or factory.
• Initiate VAVE activities focusing on cost reduction and performance.
• Support NPI activities and seamless transfer from NPI to MP.
• Plan and execute FA/Prototype/Engineering/Evaluation builds.
• Create and maintain BOM; support BOM costing in RFQs.

We’re looking to add a Product Engineer in Singapore. The position is based in our GES site at Marsiling.

As a Product Engineer, you will:

• Manage Product Data throughout the entire life cycle of the products.
• Ensure products and manufacturing processes conform to customer spec. and internal quality system requirements.
• Monitor, maintain and improve products quality performance.
• Lead cross-functional team and work on RCCA on product quality issue arising from customer.
• Manage product and process Change Management initiated from customer, supplier and the factory.
• Initiate and lead VAVE activities with focus on cost reduction, product quality and performance enhancement.
• Support NPI activities to ensure operational readiness with products seamless transfer from NPI to MP.
• Plan, coordinate and execute FA/Prototype/Engineering/Evaluation builds.
• Perform FAQ Form-Fit-Function.
• Responsible for BOM creation and maintenance.
• Support RFQ on BOM structuring and costing.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical / Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment

• Ability to attend meetings on different time zones when necessary
• General awareness of Manufacturing Systems e.g. CAD, SAP, ERP etc.
• Good presentation skills and good grasp of the MS Office (Word, Power Point and Excel)
• Independent, self-motivated, process oriented & analytical
