Job summary

Venture Corporation Limited, headquartered in Singapore, invites applications for an Engineer, Program to be based at our Headquarters in Ang Mo Kio. You will coordinate between customers and internal groups to ensure delivery of cost, quality, and time-to-market for new product introductions.

The ideal candidate has a degree or diploma in Electronics/Mech/Electrical engineering with 2–3 years of electronics manufacturing experience, familiarity with SAP, BOMs and ECN processes, and strong

• Degree or Diploma in Electronics/Mechanical/Electrical or relevant Engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in electronics manufacturing or contract manufacturing.
• Experience in SAP database management is preferred.
• Familiar with BOM structure and project planning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate customer needs effectively to all internal groups.
• Submit RFQs and manage related documentation.
• BOM setup in SAP system and ECO/ECN handling.
• Lead project management for New Product Introductions (NPI).
• Oversee phase-in/phase-out and qualification builds.
• Manage obsolescence resolution for NPI materials with customers.
• Assist in cost-saving initiatives with customers and internal teams.
• Keep abreast of technology trends and customer roadmaps.
• Support EHS compliance and participate in special projects.

We’re looking to add aEngineer, PrograminSingapore. The position will be based in ourHeadquartersinAng Mo Kio.

As a Engineer, Program, you will:

Acts as the primary liaison between the customer and all functional groups in the company to ensure that the customer needs are met. Be responsible for the key project deliverables, namely cost, quality and time to market.

The key responsibilities are as below:

• Communicate customer’s needs effectively to all functional groups

• Responsible and ownership for Request for Quotation (RFQ) submission

• Bill of Materials (BOM) setup in SAP system

• Responsible to raise internal Engineering Change Order (ECO) & manage that once receive official Engineering Change Notice (ECN) from customer

• Project Management of New Product Introduction (NPI) to ensure it is timely, accurate and with good quality

• Manage phase in phase out, control/qualification build activities

• Active Management of NPI materials to make sure obsoleted or inactive materials after NPI builts are resolved with customer timely

• Quarterly or/and yearly cost saving exercise with customeror/and internally;

• Keep abreast of customers, technology and business roadmap

• Contribute to the workplace safety and health improvement for the employees, as well as environmental protection, by adhering to the company’s Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures, and helping to achieve EHS objectives and targets through participation of EHS programs

• Participate in any special projects/programs as & when assigned by Company

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

• Degree/Diploma in Electronics/Mechanical/Electrical or relevant Engineering studies

• 2 - 3 years relevant experience in an electronics manufacturing environment or contract manufacturing business
• Experience in SAP database management is preferred
• Familiar with BOM structure and project planning is preferred
• Dynamic team player who is willing to take up new challenges, self-motivated and result-oriented
• Resourceful, responsive, written and verbal communications skills
