Job summary

SURBANA JURONG CONSULTANTS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a qualified Electrical/Mechanical engineer to support planning and development of projects.

The role involves assisting to design from concept to detailed designs, and working at project sites with the team. The candidate should be detail-oriented, eager to adopt new technologies, and possess strong problem-solving and coordination skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Meticulous and highly detail-oriented.
• Keen interest to incorporate new technologies into engineering design projects.
• Excellent knowledge in mechanical and/or electrical engineering fields.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and project coordination skills for networking with internal and external stakeholders.
• Required to work both in office and at project sites.
• Applicants with good experiences will be considered for Senior positions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop projects from inception to completion.
• Assist to develop mechanical and/or electrical engineering designs based on project requirements, from conceptual to schematic and detailed designs.
• Assist to design mechanical and electrical systems.
• Assist to conduct project assessments and suggest feasible and creative solutions based on assessment results.
• Support tendering process.
• Assist to plan the team's manpower and provide on-the-job guidance to junior staff.
