Job summary

Powen Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to plan, coordinate and manage electrical works across project lifecycles in Singapore. The role emphasizes safety, schedule adherence, budget control and compliance with specifications and statutory requirements.

You will review drawings, prepare method statements and schedules, coordinate with consultants, clients and subcontractors, monitor progress and quality, and contribute to testing, commissioning and handover

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in electrical construction or M&E projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise electrical installation works at project sites.
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare method statements, work schedules, shop drawings, and material submissions.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and productivity to ensure timely completion.
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues during construction.
• Manage procurement of materials and ensure timely delivery to site.
• Verify subcontractor work progress, claims, and completed work.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, testing & commissioning records, and handover documents.
• Support testing, commissioning, TOP/CSC inspections, and project close-out activities.
