Job summary

SVP INTEGRATED ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead site-based project planning, execution and close-out.

You will coordinate with sub-contractors, vendors and clients, ensuring drawings and specifications are followed and safety standards are met. The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, MS Word and Excel.

• Minimum Degree in Electrical Engineering and its equivalent
• Strong analytical, self-motivated, good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Manage overall projects planning, supervise, execute and follow-up on all project actions and schedules.
• Overall management, controlling and monitoring of day-to-day project operations including coordinating activities with sub-contractors and liaise with all party involved in the project.
• Able to provide electrical related technical expertise (design specifications, vendor selection, construction specifications/ requirements, safety requirements etc.) throughout the implementation process.
• Able to schedule, supervise and control sub-contractors/workers to carry out their works accurately and timely in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications;
• Able to oversee and resolve overall site issues with site supervisors, sub-contractors, vendors, main contractors and/or related third parties.
• Effectively manage good working relationship with project team, customers, consultants and sub-contractors to facilitate effective co-ordination of work activities.

Job description

• Overall management, controlling and monitoring of day-to-day project operations including coordinating activities with sub-contractors and liaise with all party involved in the project.


• Able to provide electrical related technical expertise (design specifications, vendor selection, construction specifications/ requirements, safety requirements etc.) throughout the implementation process.


• Able to schedule, supervise and control sub-contractors/workers to carry out their works accurately and timely in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications;


• Able to oversee and resolve overall site issues with site supervisors, sub-contractors, vendors, main contractors and/or related third parties.


• Effectively manage good working relationship with project team, customers, consultants and sub-contractors to facilitate effective co-ordination of work activities;


• To monitor overall of construction / project progress, ensure productivity, legal compliance and all safety precaution till completion of projects;


• Monitor in overall of progress on site and ensure that quality works are carried out in order to meet quality and cost objectives, projects are completed on time, within budget;


• Provide assistance in keeping track of approvals during submission stage so as to ensure compliance with government authorities;


• Liaise closely with project team, sub-contractor & consultants to ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Electrical Engineering and its equivalent


• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience


• Proficient in MS Words & Excel, Revit and AutoCAD


• Strong analytical, self-motivated, good communication and interpersonal skills, meticulous, organized, multi-tasker, able to work independently and a pro-active team player.
