Job summary

NOVEXX PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a field service engineer to support after-sales activities. You will diagnose equipment, perform software upgrades, repair electrical components, and deliver technical training to customer staff.

You will compile detailed service reports, plan travel, ensure diagnostic tools are available, track progress, and maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams. Office hours are 5 days per week in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics of equipment and software upgrades
• Repair of electrical components including wiring harnesses, connectors and circuit boards
• Provide technical training to customer maintenance teams
• Compile thorough service reports detailing fault codes, diagnostics and root causes
• Coordinate travel arrangements and ensure diagnostic tools and testing equipment are available
• Track job progress and implement corrective action plans as needed
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders

Job scope

• Working closely with after sales manager
• Perform equipment diagnostics, software upgrades, repair activities, and deliver technical training.
• Diagnose, repair, or replace electrical components including wiring harnesses, connectors, circuit boards, relays, fuses, and related peripherals.
• Offer technical assistance and in-depth guidance to customer maintenance teams, with a strong emphasis on electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Deliver specialized training to customer staff on new electrical components, system operations, and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
• Compile thorough technical service reports detailing service work performed, fault codes identified, diagnostic processes, and root cause findings to ensure accurate records for warranty and quality teams.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and ensure all required diagnostic equipment and specialized electrical testing tools are available for each assignment.
• Track job progress and implement corrective action plans as needed.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
