Job summary

RecruitPedia Pte Ltd is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer in Singapore to drive revenue by understanding customer needs and delivering tailored technical solutions. You will manage client relationships, develop new business, and coordinate proposals and tenders from inquiry to close.

Candidate should have a Diploma in Engineering or Business with at least 2 years in technical sales, capable of presenting to clients, negotiating contracts, and willing to travel to customer sites as required.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, business development or a similar role.
• Exposure to tendering and project management will be an added advantage.
• Willing to travel to customer sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their needs and business requirements.
• Identify new markets, customers and business opportunities to expand the company’s presence.
• Recommend suitable technical solutions and prepare customised proposals based on customer requirements.
• Prepare quotations, tenders and commercial proposals with the relevant technical and financial information.
• Conduct sales presentations and solution briefings to effectively communicate product and service offerings.
• Develop and monitor sales plans, track business progress and follow up on opportunities to drive revenue growth.
• Work closely with internal teams to coordinate customer requirements and ensure smooth project execution.
• Support contract discussions and negotiations with customers where required.
• Follow up on customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain a positive customer experience.
• Develop new business and achieve assigned sales targets through effective customer engagement.
