Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to strengthen client relationships, identify new markets, and tailor technical solutions to customer requirements.

You will prepare quotations and manage tenders while collaborating with internal teams to drive revenue and ensure successful project delivery. Ideal candidates have a Diploma in Engineering or related discipline, 2+ years in technical sales, and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
• Exposure to tendering and project management will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their needs and business requirements.
• Identify new markets, customers and business opportunities to expand the company's presence.
• Recommend suitable technical solutions and prepare customised proposals based on customer requirements.
• Prepare quotations, tenders and commercial proposals with the relevant technical and financial information.
• Conduct sales presentations and solution briefings to effectively communicate product and service offerings.
• Develop and monitor sales plans, track business progress and follow up on opportunities to drive revenue growth.
• Work closely with internal teams to coordinate customer requirements and ensure smooth project execution.
• Support contract discussions and negotiations with customers where required.
• Follow up on customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain a positive customer experience.
• Develop new business and achieve assigned sales targets through effective customer engagement.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
