Job summary

Five M Construction & Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking an HR professional to manage end-to-end HR operations in Singapore. You will handle recruitment, MOM work pass applications, employee records, payroll support, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws.

The role requires 2–3 years of HR experience in construction/engineering and strong MS Office skills. You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining confidentiality and coordinating across departments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in construction/engineering/manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of Singapore employment practices and MOM work pass requirements.
• Experience handling Work Permit, SPass and/or Employment Pass matters is advantageous.
• Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Mature, responsible and able to maintain confidentiality of employee information.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end recruitment activities, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination and selection.
• Prepare employment offers, employment contracts and related HR documents.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new employees.
• Handle applications, renewals, transfers and cancellations of Employment Pass, SPass and Work Permit.
• Ensure all work pass applications and supporting documents comply with MOM requirements.
• Monitor work pass expiry dates, medical examinations, insurance, security bonds and other statutory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and updated employee records, personal information, employment contracts and HR documentation.
• Manage employee movements, confirmations, promotions, salary adjustments, transfers and resignations.
• Assist with monthly payroll processing, including basic salary, overtime, allowances, deductions, unpaid leave and other salary adjustments.
• Monitor employee attendance, leave records and overtime submissions.
