Job summary

Institute of Mental Health (IMH) in Singapore seeks an Associate Executive – Account Receivable to support the Finance (Business Office) AR work. The role involves stations in the clinic, contacting patients with outstanding bills, understanding their situations, and guiding them toward payment plans or financial assistance options.

You will liaise with patients, work with Medical Social Workers, track follow-ups, and maintain records while coordinating with front counter staff and 1FSS

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and empathy when handling sensitive conversations.
• Comfortable engaging with patients in person at the clinic.
• Able to work independently and follow up diligently.
• Experience in accounts receivable, customer service, or healthcare setting is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with patients on outstanding bills in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Collaborate with Medical Social Workers to refer patients in need of financial assistance.
• Track follow-ups, maintain simple records, and update status in the system.
• Coordinate with front counter staff and 1FSS colleagues as needed.
• Support other AR-related administrative tasks as assigned.
