Job summary

ctci singapore pte. ltd. is seeking an ELV Lead Engineer to manage ELV and IT systems for construction projects. Responsibilities include system planning, design oversight, procurement, installation, and coordination to ensure quality, safety and project success.

The role requires leadership in ELV installation, testing and handover, plus strong documentation and stakeholder coordination in a Singapore site environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Building Services.
• Experience with ELV systems, CCTV, access control, PA, and IT networks.
• Experience leading ELV installation, testing, commissioning and site coordination.
• Strong troubleshooting, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with Singapore construction site safety requirements.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination.
• English and Mandarin proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead ELV system engineering, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance.

Job Summary

Serve as the ELV Lead Engineer, responsible for the overall technical and engineering management of ELV and IT systems for construction projects, covering system planning, design, procurement, installation, interface coordination, testing and commissioning. Ensure ELV system performance, quality, reliability, safety and project requirements are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

1. ELV System Engineering & Supervision

• Lead and oversee the installation, configuration, testing, commissioning and maintenance of ELV and IT systems.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers, technicians and subcontractors.
• Ensure ELV works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.

2. Testing & Commissioning

• Lead testing, commissioning, inspections, troubleshooting and rectification of ELV systems.
• Ensure systems meet project requirements and are ready for handover.

3. Site & Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with clients, main contractors, consultants, subcontractors and vendors.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical and installation issues.
• Monitor site progress and ensure timely completion of ELV works.

4. Technical Documentation

• Review and maintain system drawings, test reports, inspection records and technical documents.
• Support preparation of as-built drawings and handover documentation.

5. Project Handover

• Lead system testing and handover activities.
• Follow up and close out outstanding technical and site issues.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in ELV systems, CCTV, access control, PA, IT networks or related systems.
• Experience in leading ELV installation, testing, commissioning and site coordination.
• Strong troubleshooting, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with Singapore construction site and workplace safety requirements.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and lead site teams under project deadlines.
• English and Mandarin proficiency is preferred.
