Job summary

Audax Visuals Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced professional to lead electrical, ELV, and smart home projects from design through handover. You will develop and review drawings, coordinate CCTV, access control, BMS, and solar PV systems, and integrate them into a unified monitoring platform.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in electrical engineering, ELV, system integration, automation, smart home, solar PV.
• Good understanding of electrical and ELV systems and control integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrical, ELV, smart home, solar energy and system integration works from design development to testing, commissioning and handover.
• Develop and review electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, control wiring and system layouts.
• Coordinate ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, biometric systems, intrusion alarms, structured cabling, networking, public address, intercom, audiovisual and BMS.
• Coordinate smart home automation systems, including lighting control, HVAC, motorised curtains, security systems and energy management.
• Support the design, installation and commissioning of solar PV and battery storage systems.
• Integrate multiple systems into a centralised monitoring and control platform.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, equipment selections, shop drawings and installation details.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers and specialist system integrators for proper interfaces.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning and system optimisation.
• Identify technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions for reliability and maintainability.
• Prepare and review technical submissions, method statements, testing & commissioning documents, as-built drawings, O&M manuals and handover documents.
• Coordinate project schedules, technical interfaces, procurement and installation activities to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting after installation, including client training.
• Supervise and provide technical guidance to engineers, technicians, contractors and site personnel.
• Ensure all works comply with Singapore regulations, standards, safety requirements and project specifications.
• Support project managers in cost control, programme coordination, risk management and project delivery.
• Keep updated with developments in smart home automation, ELV, IoT, renewable energy, solar PV, battery storage and BMS technologies.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Building Services Engineering or related discipline.

• 3–8 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, ELV, system integration, automation, smart home, solar PV, building services or related industries.

• Experience in residential, commercial or industrial projects will be an advantage.

• Good understanding of electrical systems, ELV systems, automation, controls and system integration.

• Experience with AutoCAD and relevant engineering/design software.

• Knowledge of CCTV, access control, networking, BMS, AV, smart home systems and/or solar PV will be an advantage.

• Familiarity with automation and communication protocols such as KNX, BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP, DALI or similar will be an advantage.

• Good understanding of testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.

• Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills and ability to work with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.

• English proficiency required; Mandarin/Chinese preferred to effectively communicate with Mandarin/Chinese-speaking clients.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.

• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
