Job summary

REVCON ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is seeking a technically proficient field service engineer to install, configure and commission products for customers on-site and remotely.

You will investigate issues, prepare service and commissioning reports, and provide solutions while supporting the sales team with technical options. Fluency in Mandarin and English is required to coordinate with China-based suppliers and manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of sales experience in M&E, control & automation.
• Must be mature, self-disciplined and results-driven.
• Excellent communication with clear presentation ability.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin and English for China-based coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical installation for on-site installation and online calls.
• Provide on-site service and support to customers, including problem verification, solution, and repair.
• Set up, configure, and commission products for customers.
• Handle technical inquiries and requests for quotations on technical services.
• Produce reports related to on-site issues (root cause analysis, service/commissioning reports).
• Handle customer service calls on defective products and preventive maintenance.
• Support the sales team with technical solutions to meet customer needs.
• Carry out such duties as may reasonably be required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical installation for on-site installation and online calls.

• Provide on-site service and support to customers; not limited to local customers. For instance, problem verification, solution, and checking defective items to investigate and repair.

• Set up, configure, and commission our products for customers.

• Handles technical inquiries and requests for quotations on technical services.

• Produce relevant reports for all work relating to on-site problems such as root cause analysis, service report, commissioning report, etc.

• Handle customer service calls on defective products and preventive maintenance.

• Support the sales team in providing technical solutions to meet customers' needs.

• In addition to these duties/responsibilities, employees are required to carry out such duties as may reasonably be required.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related fields

• Minimum 1-3 years of sales experience in M&E, control & automation industry.

• Mature, self-disciplined and results-driven.

• Clear presentation ability with excellent communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus to establish positive relations.

• Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin and English, as the role requires regular communication and coordination with China-based suppliers and manufacturers.
