Job summary

VERITAS CONTROL SDN. BHD. seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, commission and support control and automation products at customer sites. You will configure systems, prepare service reports, and address technical inquiries.

You will also assist the sales team with technical solutions, maintain strong customer relations, and ensure quality service across on-site and remote situations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 1-3 years of sales experience in M&E, control & automation industry.
• Mature, self-disciplined and results-driven.
• Clear presentation ability with excellent communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus to establish positive relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical installation for on-site installation and online calls.
• Provide on-site service and support to customers; not limited to local customers.
• Set up, configure, and commission our products for customers.
• Handles technical inquiries and requests for quotations on technical services.
• Produce relevant reports for all work relating to on-site problems such as root cause analysis, service report, commissioning report, etc.
• Handle customer service calls on defective products and preventive maintenance.
• Support the sales team in providing technical solutions to meet customers' needs.
• Carry out such duties as may reasonably be required.

• Provide on-site service and support to customers; not limited to local customers. For instance, problem verification, solution, and checking defective items to investigate and repair.
• Set up, configure, and commission our products for customers.
• Handles technical inquiries and requests for quotations on technical services.
• Produce relevant reports for all work relating to on-site problems such as root cause analysis, service report, commissioning report, etc.
• Handle customer service calls on defective products and preventive maintenance.
• Support the sales team in providing technical solutions to meet customers' needs.
• In addition to these duties/responsibilities, employees are required to carry out such duties as may reasonably be required.
