Job summary

DLM Pte Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (Tender – Electrical) to support tendering and cost management for electrical works in construction projects. You will prepare detailed cost estimates, review drawings, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective outcomes from pre-contract to award.

Key tasks include budgeting, BOQ preparation, value engineering, and cross-functional coordination with Engineering, Procurement, and Project teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Strong numerical and analytical capabilities with attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office and estimation software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender budgets for electrical works.
• Review drawings and plans to determine comprehensive cost requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities via value engineering.
• Prepare and submit tender documents and BOQ.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Track tender costs and prepare cost comparison reports.
• Conduct pre-tender site evaluations when needed.
• Address clarifications and disputes related to pricing.
• Coordinate with internal teams on tender requirements.
