Job summary

SWIFT SEARCH GLOBAL PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Quantity Surveyor to support electrical project costs and tender activities. You will prepare take-offs, cost estimates, and quotations for electrical works, while coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost control.

The role includes reviewing drawings, assessing progress claims, and liaising with project teams on QS matters. Occasional site visits required; 5-day work week with office and site duties.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Building Services or related discipline.
• Candidates with an Electrical / M&E background are preferred.
• Able to understand electrical drawings and project requirements.
• QS experience in electrical or M&E construction projects is advantageous.
• 5-day work week.
• Good communication, coordination and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates and quotations for electrical works.
• Assist in tender preparation, evaluation and submission.
• Source quotations and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and assess progress claims, variation orders and subcontractor claims.
• Review project drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Monitor project costs and maintain proper commercial and contractual documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on QS matters.
• Conduct site visits and verify work progress when required.
• Support project cost control and other quantity surveying duties.
• Work will be based at both office and project sites.
