Job summary

Teco Electric & Machinery Pte Ltd is seeking a results-driven sales professional in Singapore to drive sales of electrical products and services. You will manage existing accounts, identify new opportunities, and deliver compelling presentations to clients.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering, with experience in technical sales or sales engineering, and a valid Class 3 license. Strong communication and pro-active attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales / pre-sales / sales engineering.
• Exposure to Motors, Drives, Transformers, Switchgear, Generators or Busbars is an added advantage.
• Experience with Consultants / EPC (preferred).
• Possess own transport and Class 3 driving license.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Pro-active, highly motivated, and driven personality.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for sales of products/services, achieving sales target & ensure sustainable order growth.
• Manage and increase business with existing customers by identifying their current and future service requirements to provide solution, maintaining relationships.
• Identify & establish new business opportunities / market potential customers.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on products and service.
• Contribute to team effort and be accountable for sales growth objectives.
• Performing regular status updates and proposes recovery plan(s), in case of any shortfalls.
• Hunter mindset – prospecting, cold calling, and closing deals.
• New account acquisition + growing existing customers.
• Active prospecting and presentations.
• Accountability for sales targets, delivery coordination, and collections.
• Correspond with suppliers and customers to ensure prompt delivery.
