Job summary

Reeracoen Singapore Pte Ltd has a client, a Japanese mechanical and electrical engineering company, seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in Electrical systems to support project estimation and bidding. In this role, you will handle the tender lifecycle from initial quantity take-offs and risk assessment to preparing competitive technical and commercial proposals.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in Electrical systems.
• Experience across tender lifecycle, including quantity take-offs, risk assessment and proposals.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and manage documentation to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Tender/Contract Manager in preparation and submission of tenders.
• Analyze the scope of work and commercial requirements to identify project risks.
• Develop and maintain tender files for tracking bidding activities.
• Prepare and follow up RFQs with suppliers/subcontractors for competitive costing and data.
• Perform quantity take-offs from Electrical, ACMV, Fire Protection, and Architectural drawings.
• Collate price comparisons, costing summaries and technical proposals for submissions.
• Review addenda and corrigenda to update costing summaries and proposals.
• Ensure tender submission documents are prepared and finalized within deadlines.
• Maintain comprehensive project records and documentation.
• Prepare tender interview materials; perform other duties as assigned.
• Coordinate with team to ensure timely tender delivery.
