Qualifications

• EMA Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) license is advantageous.

• Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a methodical and safety-conscious Electrical Engineer to oversee the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of our electrical systems and infrastructure. In this role, you will ensure that all electrical installations operate at peak efficiency, comply with regulatory codes, and meet strict project deadlines. Working closely with cross-functional engineering, project management, and safety teams, you will turn complex engineering designs into reliable, high-performing operational systems.

Key Responsibilities

• System Design & Testing: Review, modify, and approve electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and control circuit designs for electrical installations.
• Project Execution: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring strict adherence to project timelines and budget parameters.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance workflows for critical equipment (e.g., switchgears, transformers, UPS systems, and distribution boards) to minimize operational downtime.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all electrical engineering activities strictly comply with Singapore standards (such as SS 638 / CP 5), Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines, and EMA regulations.
• Vendor & Contractor Management: Supervise external sub-contractors, equipment vendors, and service providers to ensure engineering work matches quality and safety expectations.
• Technical Documentation: Author and maintain comprehensive engineering logs, root-cause failure analysis reports, operation manuals, and testing certificates.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore.
• Experience: Demonstrated professional track record in electrical system design, site execution, facility maintenance, or construction project management.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in engineering software and design tools (such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or relevant electrical simulation programs).
• Certifications: Possession of, or eligibility for, an EMA Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) Technician or Engineer grade license is highly advantageous.
• Competencies: Strong systematic problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, and a strict commitment to operational safety protocols.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written English communication skills to effectively collaborate with site teams, project stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
