Job summary

Recruit Asia Pte Ltd in Bukit Merah, Singapore, seeks an Electrical Engineer to oversee the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems. You will ensure peak efficiency, regulatory compliance, and timely project delivery in a cross-functional team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore.
• Experience in electrical system design, site execution, facility maintenance, or construction project management.
• Proficiency in engineering software and design tools (AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar).
• EMA Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) license is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and safety mindset.
• Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify, and approve electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and control circuits.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems within timelines and budget.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for critical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore standards (SS 638 / CP 5), WSH guidelines, and EMA regulations.
• Supervise external sub-contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure quality and safety.
• Prepare engineering logs, root-cause analysis reports, operation manuals, and testing certificates.
