Job summary

DBEST (SINGAPORE) FACILITY TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety cum Fire Safety Manager to lead EHS compliance for a new Tuas factory.

The role also serves as Fire Safety Manager. You will develop and implement EHS systems, conduct inspections and audits, train teams including subcontractors, and support safety initiatives to ensure alignment with Singapore WSH regulations and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• A qualified Fire Safety Manager (Mandatory).
• At least 5 years of experience in an electronic manufacturing environment.
• Preferably, a registered Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer with MOM, holding at least 3 years of registration.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and ISO management systems.
• Minimum of a Science or Engineering Diploma/Degree (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) compliance activities, ensuring adherence to Singapore regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards relating to Facilities Management/Facilities Services.
• Develop, implement, and monitor EHS management systems, risk assessments, safe work procedures, and safety initiatives to promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and corrective action follow-ups to identify hazards, mitigate risks, and prevent workplace incidents.
• Provide leadership, training, and guidance to project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, including the preparation and delivery of EHS presentations, toolbox talks, and safety campaigns.
• Support the company in implementing the in-house environmental policy.
• Oversee the security system and personnel on site ensuring the premise is secure.
• Manage defects rectification works during defects liability period.
