Job summary

RECRUIT LYNC PTE. LTD. on Jurong Island in Singapore is seeking an ESH professional to implement environmental, safety and health programs and maintain the SHMS framework.

The role requires coordinating with suppliers, conducting risk assessments, and driving continuous improvements across ESH operations. The position emphasizes inspections, inductions, and training, with collaborations across internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure regulatory compliance and workplace safety.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in ESH or related field.
  • Experience in chemical industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the ESH Section Manager in implementing ESH programs and SHMS compliance.
  • Coordinate quotations, specifications, schedules, liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support ESH operations.
  • Gather ESH data, analyze trends, obtain stakeholder feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct workplace inspections, safety inductions, ESH training, risk assessments, PSSR inspections, ESH meetings, and safety awareness programs.
  • Coordinate third-party monitoring and training, maintain legal documentation and registers, support SHMS audits, submit regulatory documents, and communicate updates on legal requirements.
  • Review contractor documentation, conduct safety inductions, monitor on-site work, ensure PTW and 5S compliance, and coordinate safe work planning with stakeholders.
  • Review process flows and SOPs, identify improvement opportunities, support MOC/PCA, integrate safe work practices, and implement LOTO and safe shutdown procedures.
  • Assist in emergency planning and drills, coordinate with security and relevant authorities, verify emergency equipment readiness, and support updates to the Emergency Response Plan.

Your Responsibilities
  • Assist the ESH Section Manager in implementing ESH programs, ensuring compliance with environmental, safety and health regulations, and maintaining the Safety & Health Management System (SHMS).
  • Coordinate quotations, evaluate product specifications, arrange service and delivery schedules, liaise with suppliers, and communicate with internal stakeholders to support ESH operations.
  • Gather ESH-related data from process owners, analyze trends, obtain stakeholder feedback, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct workplace inspections, safety inductions, ESH training, risk assessments (HAZOP, PPE, EAI), PSSR inspections, ESH meetings, and safety awareness programs.
  • Coordinate third-party monitoring and training, maintain legal documentation and registers, support SHMS audits, submit regulatory documents, and communicate updates on legal requirements.
  • Review contractor documentation, conduct safety inductions, monitor on-site work, ensure Permit-to-Work (PTW) and 5S compliance, and coordinate safe work planning with stakeholders.
  • Review process flows and SOPs, identify improvement opportunities, support Management of Change (MOC/PCA), integrate safe work practices, and implement Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and safe shutdown procedures.
  • Assist in emergency planning and drills, coordinate with security and relevant authorities, verify emergency equipment readiness, and support updates to the Emergency Response Plan.
You will need
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Diploma/Degree in related field such as Chemical Engineering, Environment Engineering, etc.
  • Experience in chemical industry will be an added advantage
  • Certified WSQ Specialist in Workplace Safety & Health (Level C).
  • Certified in Work at Height Management and Supervision.
  • Certified in Confined Space Supervision and Safe Entry Assessment.
  • Trained in Incident Management and Risk Management Implementation.
