Job summary

NCS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Senior/Engineer, Network & Security to design, implement, and maintain secure, resilient enterprise networks. You will lead architecture, ensure high availability, and drive security best practices across stakeholders.

In this role, you will mentor junior engineers, document policies, stay current with technologies, and partner with government-related projects requiring Singaporean citizenship.

Qualifications

• Singapore Citizen due to government project sensitivity.
• CCNA/CCNP certification is required.
• Proven experience as a Senior Network or Security Engineer.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, architectures, and security principles.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and performance optimization tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-level network infrastructures, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security
• Implement and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, IPS/IDS, and access control mechanisms
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive measures to ensure optimal network operations
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, policies, and procedures related to network and security operations
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in network and security domains
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

What will you do?

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Due to government project sensitivity, we will only consider Singapore Citizen.
• Possesses Valid CCNA/CCNP certification
• Proven experience as a Senior Network or Security Engineer, with a strong understanding of network protocols, architectures, and security principles
• Expertise in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting across various environments
• Proficiency in network security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, VPNs, IPS/IDS, and access control mechanisms
• Hands‑on experience with network monitoring and performance optimization tools
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication and documentation abilities, with the ability to convey technical information clearly
