Job summary

TikTok Shop is seeking an Emergency Response Specialist to lead regional crisis management for high-severity incidents, coordinating cross-functional teams and driving timely resolution.

You will develop response frameworks, partner with Operations, Legal, Public Policy and Product, and provide executive-level communications during fast-moving events to ensure operational readiness and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in emergency management, crisis management, incident response, trust & safety operations, risk management, or related governance functions.
• Proven experience managing high-visibility incidents in ecommerce, technology, consulting, or government/public sector organizations.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills with ability to drive alignment across regional and global teams.
• Strong communication and executive presentation skills in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Experience developing operational processes, escalation frameworks, or incident management programs at scale.
• Strong business acumen and experience partnering with business operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Regional emergency response and crisis management operations for high-severity incidents impacting TikTok Shop.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to drive timely incident resolution and risk mitigation.
• Develop and optimize emergency response frameworks, escalation protocols, and incident management processes across regional operations.
• Partner with business and country operations teams to identify pain points and implement scalable solutions.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews to identify preventive measures and improve readiness.
• Drive alignment across Operations, Legal, Public Policy, Communications, Product, and cross-functional teams during crises.
• Monitor emerging operational, regulatory, and reputational risks with actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Provide clear executive-level communication during fast-moving incidents.
