Job summary

REC Group in Singapore is seeking a proactive Production Planner to translate global demand into executable production plans, aligning materials, capacity, and manufacturing resources for on-time delivery. You will be the key interface between Supply Chain and Operations, working with cross-functional teams to balance customer requirements and production constraints.

The role emphasizes data-driven planning, reporting in Excel, and continuous improvement using Lean principles.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, industrial, mechanical engineering, or related field.
1–3 years in production planning, supply chain, or operations planning.
Strong ERP/MRP knowledge, preferably SAP.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficient in Excel; PowerPoint/Word for reporting.
Lean manufacturing awareness preferred.
Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.
No direct people management responsibility.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain production plans to support global demand while optimizing capacity and resources.
Coordinate daily with Procurement, Material Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams.
Analyze forecasts, material availability, capacity, and constraints to identify risks.
Prepare and maintain production planning reports, dashboards, and analyses in Excel.
Lead weekly cross-functional planning meetings and communicate requirements to stakeholders.
Monitor performance and adjust plans in response to demand or supply changes.
Support scenario planning and simulations to enable data-driven decisions.
Drive continuous improvement to enhance planning accuracy and efficiency.
