Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) seeks a 2D CAD Drafter to convert hand sketches into precise CAD drawings for building and MEP projects. You will design, modify, and coordinate 2D CAD layouts, ensuring alignment with project specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities include translating drawings, reviewing for accuracy, and updating revisions while collaborating in project meetings and client submittals.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience as a 2D CAD drafter in building & construction.
• Proficient in MEP drawing, AutoCAD software, MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD to create and update 2D CAD drawings for buildings and MEP systems.
• Ensure compliance with CAD drawing quality standards.
• Redesign drawings based on markups and specifications.
• Review drawings for completeness and accuracy.
• Translate and convert hand drawings and sketches into CAD systems.
• Read, evaluate and interpret mechanical / process designs and drawings.
• Create and implement work methodologies and strategies.
• Document and update all drawings.
• Produce shop drawings, as-built drawings, coordination and integration of engineering and M&E drawings.
• Maintain all revisions of project drawings.
• Provide timely technical assistance and solutions to the team.
• Participate in project meetings as required.
• Prepare engineering documents for user and/or client submittal

• 1. To use current AutoCAD software. Knowledge of Revit software to design and implement MEP systems is an added advantage
