Job summary

Bestbuilt Construction Pte. Ltd. is seeking a capable CAD drafter to join our civil/mechanical team in Singapore. The role focuses on producing accurate 2D CAD drawings, with emphasis on MEP coordination and adherence to quality standards.

You will convert hand drawings to CAD, review designs, and support project teams with timely technical drawings and documentation. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; knowledge of Revit is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• 2 - 3 years experience as a 2D CAD drafter in building & construction.
• Proficient in MEP drawing, AutoCAD, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Use current AutoCAD software to produce drawings.
• Redesign drawings per markups and specifications.
• Review drawings for completeness and accuracy.
• Translate and convert hand drawings into CAD systems.
• Read, evaluate and interpret mechanical/process designs and drawings.
• Create work methodologies and strategies.
• Document and update all drawings.
• Produce shop drawings, as-built drawings, coordination and MEP drawings.
• Maintain revisions of project drawings.
• Provide timely technical assistance to the team.
• Participate in project meetings as required.
• Prepare engineering documents for client submittals.

Job description

• To use current AutoCAD software. Knowledge of Revit software to design and implement MEP systems is an added advantage

• Ensure compliance of quality standards in CAD drawings

• Redesign drawings accordingly to mark-ups and specifications

• Review drawings for completeness and accuracy

• Translate and convert hand drawings and sketches into CAD systems

• Read, evaluate and interpret mechanical/ process designs and drawings

• Create and implement work methodologies and strategies

• Documentation and update all drawings

• Produce shop drawings, as-built drawing, coordination and integration of engineering and M&E drawings

• Maintain all revisions of project drawings

• Provide timely technical assistance and solutions to the team

• Participate in project meetings as required

• Prepare engineering documents for user and/or client submittal

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent preferred.

• 2 - 3 years experience as a 2D CAD drafter in building & construction

• Proficient in MEP drawing, AutoCAD software, MS Office.

Note: We will be shifting our office premises to Stellar @ Tampines from 3rd week of Sep onwards
