Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) is seeking a drafting professional in Singapore to prepare AutoCAD drawings for construction projects. You will assist in mechanical building system detailing, coordinate with project teams, and ensure compliance with codes and specs.

Ideal candidates have a diploma/degree in a relevant engineering field and at least 2 years of drafting experience. Strong communication and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Civil Engineering or related fields.
• At least 2 years of drafting or design experience in construction.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to interpret construction drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings and technical documentation for construction projects.
• Assist design and detailing of mechanical building systems (expansion joints, firestop).
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, consultants and project teams for design accuracy.
• Review project specs, drawings and building codes.
• Provide design and drafting support from tender through installation.
• Update and revise drawings as project requirements change.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings and technical documentation for construction projects.
• Assist in the design and detailing of mechanical building systems, including expansion joint and firestop solutions.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, consultants, and project teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and relevant building codes.
• Provide design and drafting support from tender stage through project installation.
• Update and revise drawings based on project requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Civil Engineering, or related disciplines.
• At least 2 years of drafting or design experience in the construction industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Able to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of building codes or structural detailing will be an advantage.
• Good communication skills and able to work independently.
