Job summary

Yankey Engineering in Singapore is seeking a CAD Draftsman with 3–5 years of hands-on experience to produce precise 2D and 3D drawings for mechanical and electrical systems, using AutoCAD or Revit.

You will develop drawings per client requirements, ensure compliance with codes, review and revise drawings, and collaborate with project teams to meet tight deadlines across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in architecture, engineering or related field.
• Hands-on CAD drafting experience in engineering or construction.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and reading engineering drawings.
• Detail-oriented with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Prepare and develop accurate technical drawings in accordance with clients’ requirements and project specifications.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry regulations, codes, standards, and best practices.
• Attend meetings with project teams and client representatives to understand project requirements and ensure drawings meet the required standards and specifications.
• Review, revise, and modify drawings to accommodate project requirements, design changes, and site constraints.
• Prepare updated and revision drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate closely with the drafting and project teams to manage multiple projects with different timelines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a CAD Draftsman, preferably within the engineering or construction industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or other industry-standard CAD software.
• Strong technical drawing skills with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and schematics.
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to producing accurate, high-quality, and error-free drawings.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a project team.
