Job summary

B H S KINETIC PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Dormitory Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day dormitory operations, ensure cleanliness and hygiene, and conduct routine inspections of rooms and common areas.

You will manage check-in and check-out of workers, maintain residents’ records, enforce dormitory rules, handle complaints, coordinate with employers and contractors, and prepare reports for audits and inspections to support safe, compliant housing.

• Conduct routine inspections of rooms and common areas.
• Manage check-in/check-out of workers and maintain resident records.
• Enforce dormitory rules and handle residents’ complaints and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with the Foreign Employee Dormitories Act and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with maintenance vendors and document for audits.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Operations

• Oversee day-to-day dormitory operations
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper housekeeping standards
• Conduct routine inspections of rooms and common areas

2. Resident Management

• Manage check-in and check-out of workers
• Maintain accurate residents’ records (names, employers, room allocation)
• Enforce dormitory rules and house regulations
• Handle residents’ complaints and feedback

3. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with regulations under the Foreign Employee Dormitories Act
• Monitor fire safety, emergency procedures, and incident reporting
• Work with authorities for inspections when required

4. Maintenance Coordination

• Report and follow up on repair and maintenance issues
• Liaise with contractors/vendors for facility upkeep

5. Security & Discipline

• Monitor access control and visitors
• Address misconduct, disputes, or disturbances among residents
• Ensure curfew or dormitory policies are followed

6. Administration

• Prepare reports (occupancy, incidents, maintenance logs)
• Keep proper documentation for audits and inspections
• Coordinate with employers regarding worker accommodation matters
