Job summary

PSA Corporation Limited is seeking a dedicated Dormitory Operations Assistant in Singapore to support the Dormitory Manager in daily duties such as upkeep, meal provisioning, and facility bookings.

You will coordinate cleaning, maintenance, and security checks, ensuring rooms are ready for new foreign workers and residents receive timely responses to queries. The role requires flexibility for rotating shifts and collaboration with security teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum Sec 2 (Express) or Sec 3 (Normal) or equivalent.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure dormitory premises are cleaned and meals provided on time.
• Schedule and supervise cleanup and repair assignments as needed.
• Provide daily updates on movements of residents.
• Oversee the use of recreational facilities and manage bookings.
• Ensure rooms are equipped for arrival of new foreign workers.
• Collaborate with security staff to check for unauthorized items.
• Supervise the performance of the security and facilities management provider.
• Attend to residents' queries and requests.

Main Duties

• Ensure that the dormitory premises are cleaned, meals are provided on time
• Schedule and supervise cleanup and repair assignments as and when necessary
• Provide daily updates on movements of residents
• Oversee the proper usage of the recreational facilities and facilitate the booking of these facilities
• Ensure that rooms are equipped for arrival of new foreign workers
• Collaborate with security staff to conduct checks on possession of unauthorized and illegal items
• Supervise and monitor the performance of the security and facilities management provider
• Attend to residents ' queries and requests etc.
