Job summary

SHL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Director of Solution Architecture based in Singapore to oversee pre-sales solution architecture across APAC.

You will lead a team of Solution Architects, ensuring SHL’s talent solutions are scalable, differentiable, and deployable, while aligning with Sales, Marketing, Product and Delivery. The role combines strategic leadership, hands-on deal engagement, and development, acting as a bridge between functions.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with major HCM and talent ecosystems or similar platforms.
• Experience influencing product strategy and roadmap outcomes based on enterprise customers and market signal.
• Background in people analytics, talent intelligence, or assessment including awareness of AI-driven platforms.
• Experience across global or multi-regional enterprise markets, with APAC exposure valued.
• Knowledge of emerging AI regulation and data governance frameworks relevant to enterprise HR tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Solution Architecture function across Asia Pac including India, Australia and Southeast Asia markets, setting clear expectations, standards, and ways of working.
• Own the solution quality bar across all presale engagements.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to shape roadmap prioritization based on market customer needs.
• Strategic Deal Engagement & Lead or assist complex discoveries with C-suite, HR, TA, IT, and Procurement stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience to solution AI-powered products, including governance and AI buying conversations with enterprise customers.
• Fluency in skills-based organisation trends and the evolving skills infrastructure landscape.
• Broad exposure to HR Tech or Talent Tech ecosystem to position solutions within a customer's wider HCM architecture.
• Proven success influencing and scaling high-performing presales teams across seniority levels.
• Executive-level communication and stakeholder management across IT, Security, AI governance, HR and TA buyers.

The Director of Solution Architecture will be accountable for the quality, consistency, and commercial effectiveness of SHL's pre‑sales solution architecture across APAC regions.

The Director of Solution Architecture will lead a team of Solution Architects guiding enterprise accounts, ensuring SHL's SaaS talent solutions are positioned as scalable, differentiated, and deployable. Operating as a senior presales' leader and recommended advisor, the role balances strategic leadership, hands‑on deal engagement, and development, while acting as a critical bridge between Sales, Marketing, Product, and Delivery. What you will be doing:

• Lead and develop the Solution Architecture function across Asia Pac including India, Australia and Southeast Asia markets, setting clear expectations, standards, and ways of working.
• Own the solution quality bar across all presale's engagements.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to shape roadmap prioritization based on market customer needs.
• Strategic Deal Engagement & Lead or assist complex discoveries with C‑suite, HR, TA, IT, and Procurement stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience to solution AI‑powered products, including familiarity with model governance, accountable AI frameworks, and the knowledge of how to lead credible AI buying conversations with enterprise customers (CHROs, IT, Procurement).
• Fluency in skills‑based organisation trends and the evolving skills infrastructure landscape including how experience taxonomies, ontologies, and talent intelligence platforms are reshaping enterprise HR strategy.
• Broad exposure to the HR Tech or Talent Tech ecosystem, with the experience to position solutions within a customer's wider HCM and talent architecture.
• Proven success influencing and scaling high‑performing presales or solution consulting teams across varying seniority levels.
• Executive‑level communication and stakeholder management capability, including experience navigating IT, Security, and AI governance stakeholders alongside HR and TA buyers.
• Comfortable operating across markets with different enterprise maturity, commercial norms, and stakeholder culture, particularly within the APAC region.

What we are looking for from you:

• Familiarity with major HCM and talent ecosystems or similar platforms.
• Experience influencing product strategy and roadmap outcomes based on enterprise customers and market signal.
• Background in people analytics, talent intelligence, or assessment including awareness of how psychometric and behavioral data is evolving within AI‑driven talent platforms.
• Experience working across global or multi‑regional enterprise markets, with APAC exposure particularly valued.
• Knowledge of emerging AI regulation and data governance frameworks relevant to enterprise HR technology procurement.
