• 18+ years of progressive HR experience with 5+ years in senior HR leadership roles in high-growth/start-up environments.
• Proven track record building an HR function from scratch in infrastructure/tech/data centre/AI sectors.
• Regional experience beyond APAC, overseeing Americas with North Asia focus.

Our client is a newly established, next-generation data centre platform based in Singapore, focused on delivering sustainable, AI-ready and carrier-neutral infrastructure to power the region's digital economy. Backed by institutional capital and led by an experienced executive team, the company is at the start of its growth journey and is building both its physical assets and its people foundation from the ground up.

This is a rare, high-impact opportunity to establish and lead the HR function for the data centre business at the forefront of the AI and digital infrastructure ecosystem. You will work closely with the founding leadership team, you will design and scale a people strategy that supports rapid hiring, operational excellence and a strong, future-ready culture.

Responsibilities

You will advise the CEO and leadership team on workforce planning, talent risks, succession and leadership development, while leading end-to-end recruitment for critical roles across engineering, operations, commercial, finance and corporate functions, including senior and niche data centre and AI talent.

You will build employer branding and talent pipelines in Singapore and key regional markets, partner with search firms and hiring managers to ensure speed and quality of hire and design a best-in-class onboarding experience that accelerates time-to-productivity and embeds culture and safety from day one.

Beyond operations, you will shape and steward company culture, values and behaviours in a young, fast-growing organisation, drive employee engagement, recognition and communication initiatives that foster belonging, accountability and retention, and introduce performance management and development frameworks that support high performance, continuous learning and internal mobility.

You will also act as a trusted advisor to leaders on employee relations, conduct, investigations and complex people issues, and ensure compliance with local labour regulations and internal governance requirements while managing audits and external HR-related stakeholders as needed.

Requirements

• 18+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role in a high-growth or start-up environment.
• Proven track record of building an HR function from the ground up, ideally in infrastructure, technology, engineering, data centre, AI or related sectors.
• Regional experience beyond APAC is advantageous, as this role will oversee teams in the Americas with a strong focus on North Asia.
• Strong expertise across the full HR spectrum: talent acquisition, HR operations, employee relations, performance & rewards, and organisational development.
• Comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on; able to roll up your sleeves and execute while shaping long-term people strategy.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, able to partner credibly with a CEO, board and senior technical leaders.
