Job summary

EVOLUTION RECRUITMENT SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Pre-Sales Solution Architect to translate business requirements into AI solutions and support delivery from discovery through POC and implementation.

You will partner with enterprise customers and internal teams to design architectures, own the technical journey, and build demos using AI-assisted tools while collaborating with China-based product and delivery teams for successful deployment.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in Solution Architecture or equivalent enterprise-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise customers and internal sales teams to understand business challenges and requirements.
• Design solution architectures and workflows based on customer needs and integration considerations.
• Own the technical journey from requirements to POC, testing and delivery support.
• Build demos/prototypes using AI-assisted development tools when appropriate.
• Troubleshoot technical issues hands-on rather than coordinating only.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and delivery teams in China to align dependencies and enable implementation.
• Define POC scope, requirements, success criteria and recommended approach.
• Support proposals and documentation covering architecture, sizing, integration and implementation considerations.
• Engage with business and IT stakeholders to align technical outcomes with business goals.
• Identify optimization opportunities and potential enhancements post-implementation.

Job description

We are looking for a hands-on Pre-Sales Solution Architect to work directly with enterprise customers in Singapore, translating business requirements into practical AI solutions and supporting delivery from initial discovery through POC and implementation.

Job Description

• Partner with enterprise customers and internal sales teams to understand business challenges, technical requirements and potential AI use cases.
• Design suitable solution architectures and workflows based on customer requirements, platform capabilities and integration considerations.
• Own the technical journey from requirements gathering through solution design, customised demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, testing and delivery support.
• Build and adapt customer-specific demos or prototypes using modern AI-assisted development tools where appropriate.
• Take a hands-on approach to testing, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues rather than simply coordinating with engineering teams.
• Work closely with product, engineering and delivery teams based in China to translate customer requirements, clarify technical dependencies and support successful implementation.
• Define POC scope, technical requirements, success criteria and solution approach, and communicate recommendations clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support technical proposals and solution documentation, including architecture, sizing, integration requirements and implementation considerations.
• Engage with business stakeholders, IT teams and senior customer decision-makers to align technical solutions with business objectives, scalability and commercial considerations.
• Continue supporting customers after initial implementation by identifying optimisation opportunities, additional use cases and potential solution enhancements.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, Pre-Sales or a comparable enterprise-facing technical role.
• Strong technical foundation with proven experience working directly with large or complex enterprise customers .
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of customer solutions from requirements gathering and technical design through POC, troubleshooting and delivery.
• Hands-on mindset with willingness to personally investigate technical issues, test solutions and work through implementation details rather than relying entirely on engineering teams.
• Strong Mandarin communication skills to work effectively with China-based product, engineering and delivery stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-moving environment where responsibilities may extend beyond traditional pre-sales activities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to discuss both technical requirements and business outcomes with enterprise customers.
• Genuine interest in artificial intelligence and willingness to continuously learn new AI technologies, tools and product capabilities.
• Experience with Generative AI, conversational AI, chatbots, voicebots, agentic AI or related technologies is highly advantageous.
• Exposure to technologies such as large language models, NLP, speech-to-text or text-to-speech would be beneficial.
• Ability to build prototypes, work with APIs, understand system integrations or use AI-assisted development tools would be an advantage; strong software development experience is not mandatory.
• Experience supporting financial services, government or other complex enterprise customers would be advantageous.
