Job summary

Gateway Search Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Director of Mechanical Engineering to lead the mechanical engineering function for major building and infrastructure projects.

The role requires strong ACMV/HVAC expertise and a track record delivering data centres, healthcare, aviation, or large commercial developments. You will oversee design, project delivery, technical standards and engineering teams, coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification in Singapore is required.
• Typically 15+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience on large-scale building projects.
• Strong expertise in ACMV/HVAC systems and building services coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical engineering function across major projects.
• Oversee ACMV system design, engineering and implementation.
• Provide technical leadership from concept through construction and commissioning.
• Review designs, calculations, specifications and drawings.
• Mentor and develop the mechanical engineering team.
• Engage with clients, consultants, contractors and regulatory authorities.
