Job summary

Black & White Engineering is seeking an Associate Director, Mechanical to lead technical delivery on mission critical projects across Asia Pacific. You will mentor engineers, drive regional growth, and contribute to the Technical Committee while maintaining high design and documentation standards.

You will oversee HVAC design, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and play a key role in client meetings and new business initiatives, with Chartered status supported and clear progression toward

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Chartered Engineer status or working towards it (CEng).
Significant experience in mechanical engineering design across diverse building typologies; data centre experience is a plus.
Proven ability to lead and mentor multi-disciplinary teams and deliver complex projects.
Proficiency in HAP, Hevacomp, IES or BIM 360.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership on mission critical projects and ensure Right First Time outcomes.
Maintain technical authority across a complex discipline and coordinate with other engineering teams.
Drive regional growth, collaborate across borders and shape engineering standards for APAC.
Lead people, train engineers and contribute to the Technical Committee.
Represent the firm in senior client and industry meetings and contribute to proposals.
