Job summary

Standard Chartered Singapore is seeking a senior data scientist to design and deploy AI solutions spanning classical ML and large language models. The role emphasizes collaboration with product owners, data teams, MLOps, and governance while driving high-quality client solutions.

You will mentor juniors, stay current with NLP and AI advances, and ensure risk and regulatory considerations are embedded in platform design and data quality practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related fields.
• 6+ years of experience in ML, data science or related roles in banking/finance preferred.
• Proficient in Python programming.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with product owners and stakeholders to identify use-cases and gather requirements.
• Develop AI/ML solutions for business use-cases in collaboration with the team.
• Productionize solutions with MLOps and tech teams.
• Stay up-to-date with DS/NLP developments and disseminate them within the team.
• Mentor and upskill junior team members.
