Job summary

The Health Promotion Board (HPB) is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated leader to join the Innovation Office. You will shape opportunities by connecting internal needs with external capabilities, building a robust innovation pipeline aligned to HPB's priorities.

Responsibilities include identifying priority problem spaces, scanning technology trends, developing partner networks, and brokering early-stage collaborations that move ideas into pilots.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in strategy, innovation, policy, transformation, or venture building.
• Experience in public health, healthcare or related sector is advantageous.
• Ability to identify opportunities in ambiguous contexts and connect external developments to organisational priorities.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and shape opportunities in ambiguous contexts for HPB.
• Scan emerging technology trends and ecosystems to inform HPB priorities.
• Develop and maintain a diverse network of partners including tech firms, startups, academia and intermediaries.
• Match external partners to HPB problem statements and facilitate early-stage collaborations.
• Support programme teams in accessing external expertise and platforms, guiding junior staff where relevant.
