Job summary

Health Promotion Board - HPB in Singapore seeks a senior policy and planning professional to lead national health promotion planning within the Planning, Performance & Screening Division. You will coordinate with the Ministry of Health and public healthcare institutions to shape priorities, translate policies into workable frameworks and drive screening initiatives.

The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, stakeholder management, and collaboration across teams to deliver strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in policy review, strategic planning or related fields.
• At least 2 years in supervisory roles.
• Strong data analysis skills with tools like Python and R.
• Familiarity with evaluation methodologies in public health or public policy.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and writing skills.
• Experience with the impact and use of technology in policy-operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and national health screening coordination within HPB's Planning, Performance & Screening Division.
• Foster strategic partnerships with healthcare sector stakeholders for alignment and future policy implementation.
• Coordinate with the Ministry of Health and Public Healthcare Institutions on priorities and models.
• Translate policies into operational frameworks ensuring accessibility and cost-effectiveness of screening programmes.
• Collaborate across internal teams and external partners to deliver planning objectives.
• Conduct horizon scanning to identify opportunities and form implementation plans with internal teams.
• Work with data and partnership teams to identify data synergies and extract insights for senior management decisions.
