Job summary

Scoot, based in Singapore, seeks a senior Commercial/Distribution leader to own indirect channel strategy across GDS, NDC, OTAs and metasearch. You will partner with IT/engineering and Finance to optimize Navitaire distribution, reduce costs, and expand non-ticket revenue through global partnerships.

The role drives cross-functional, international initiatives, negotiates contracts with OTAs and GDS, and leads transition to modern retailing concepts, ensuring Scoot’s inventory, pricing and brand

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation, Travel, Technology or Finance or related discipline.
• 8–12 years of experience in airline distribution, travel technology, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of GDS, NDC, APIs, OTAs, metasearch and airline distribution ecosystems.
• Experience with Navitaire or comparable Passenger Service Systems.
• Experience negotiating and managing complex commercial and technical contracts.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic roadmap for all indirect channels, balancing traditional GDS with modern API and aggregator solutions.
• Ensure Navitaire supports efficient distribution across indirect points of sale.
• Lead transition from legacy booking methods to modern retailing in indirect channels.
• Serve as commercial product owner for API and NDC solutions, defining features and prioritization.
• Audit and optimize total indirect costs; collaborate with Finance on billing discrepancies.
• Negotiate, draft, and renew commercial and technical contracts with GDS and OTAs.
• Coordinate with Airlines Group for network synergies and interline visibility.
• Oversee technical distribution of interlining setups and cross-channel booking paths.
