Job summary

Scoot is seeking an experienced and hands-on Section Manager, Finance Operations & Systems to lead Accounts Payable, payments, treasury operations, and related finance systems in Singapore. Reporting to the Director, Finance, you will drive process improvements, automation, and governance, partner with cross-functional stakeholders, and strengthen controls to support the airline's strategic objectives.

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
10+ years in AP, payments, treasury ops, and finance systems, incl. 3–5 years in people leadership.
Experience with P2P, AP, payments, cash management, governance and audits.
Hands-on with ERP/finance systems (SAP preferred) including testing and enhancements.
Proven track record in automation, transformation projects, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end AP operations, payments processing, and vendor payment controls.
Oversee treasury operations, cash forecasting, liquidity, and banking relationships.
Drive finance systems governance, upgrades, UAT, and change management.
Lead process improvements, automation, and control enhancements across AP, Payments, and Treasury.
Partner with IT, Procurement, banks, and stakeholders to resolve issues and optimize processes.
Mentor and develop the AP & Payments team to build a high-performance culture.
