Job summary

Visa is seeking a Director of Fintech Partnerships to drive end-to-end growth within the Singapore fintech ecosystem and across Asia Pacific. You will identify opportunities, design solutions, and structure partnerships with stablecoins, digital assets and wallets, aligning with Visa's strategic priorities.

The role requires deep payments knowledge, a strong network with founders, investors and C-suite, and the ability to translate client needs into scalable payment solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in fintech, payments, partnerships, product commercialization or related commercial roles.
• Deep knowledge of the Singapore fintech ecosystem and APAC market developments.
• Proficient in commercial deal modelling and negotiation with a track record of closing complex deals.
• Strong understanding of payments, issuing, acquiring, digital wallets, embedded finance and programmable payments.
• Preference for candidates with experience in a global payments organization or fintech.
• Experience with stablecoins, tokenization, CBDCs and digital assets is a plus.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes in a matrixed org.
• Executive presence engaging founders, C-suite and senior decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage key fintech and digital asset client relationships, ensuring strategic alignment with regional and global priorities while identifying opportunities to deepen partnerships and accelerate business growth.
• Identify, develop and execute high-impact partnerships across fintechs, digital banks, PSPs, embedded finance platforms and ecosystem participants.
• Build strong business development and hunting capabilities to identify new opportunities and emerging business models.
• Leverage industry relationships to identify opportunities before they become mainstream market initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with founders, investors, accelerators and ecosystem influencers.
• Work closely with partners to understand customer needs, journeys and growth objectives.
• Translate strategic opportunities into scalable payment solutions leveraging Visa's capabilities.
• Act as a solution integrator bringing together internal products, services and partners.
• Advise internal stakeholders on fintech trends and ecosystem developments.
• Lead complex partnership opportunities from origination through negotiation and launch.
• Build business cases and partnership strategies to drive outcomes.
• Manage a portfolio of fintech relationships to deliver growth and revenue.
• Drive adoption of Visa products through partner channels.
