Director, Global Client Consulting - Payments Strategy

Job summary

Visa Consulting & Analytics seeks a seasoned Director for the Singapore cluster to lead client engagements across SMTGCA, driving growth and profitability through data-driven strategies and cross-functional collaboration.

You will develop pitches, manage complex projects, and build long-term client relationships with Visa’s key issuers, acquirers and merchants, while guiding regional strategy and ensuring high-impact outcomes.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD.
• Experience in designing and managing client consulting solutions.
• Experience in analyzing client journeys and developing strategies for client experience improvement.
• Experience in partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Experience in resolving client issues and developing long-term business strategies.
• Experience in business development and supporting sales goals.
• Experience in cultivating a client-centric mindset within teams.

Responsibilities

• Use Visa and external data to analyze client needs and identify opportunities for consulting assignments with Visa’s key clients.
• Develop project pitches and secure new Consulting assignments with clients, as well as re-engagements opportunities via a consultative sales approach.
• Deliver Consulting projects. Resolve complex strategic problems. Synthesize and manage complex project structures when required.
• Manage, facilitate, and implement consulting services and meet client's business targets (assignment objectives, project scope, budget, paperwork, external consultants' supervision and project delivery).
• Cultivate relationship with Visa’s clients and partners - namely the Global Clients & Acquirers, by being strategically focused, optimize client performance and implement recommendations in customer life cycle management, new product development and launches.
• Work cross-functionally with other Visa teams to bring a holistic solution to our clients leveraging Visa’s rich value-added services (VAS) from functions such as Marketing, Products, Risk etc.
• Develop propositions by closely working with Client Relationship Managers, promoting the solutions with external clients and, executing and delivering the consulting engagement to clients.
• Enable growth and improve profitability across our clients’ payment business through portfolio management and segment expansion.
• Support the VCA Singapore team in managing strategy, reporting and operations.
