Job Description

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is Visa's consulting and advisory practice, supporting financial institutions, fintechs, merchants, and other ecosystem participants navigate growth, transformation, and other emerging opportunities. Combining deep payment expertise with commercial acumen, analytical rigor, and capabilities spanning strategy, data analytics, marketing, risk, and economics, VCA serves as a trusted advisor to senior executives across the region, partnering closely with them to solve complex business challenges, unlock growth opportunities, improve portfolio performance, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

The successful candidate will be part of VCA geographic team cluster of Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand (SMT) markets, and will report to the Head of VCA Singapore.

What a Director does at Visa:

As a VCA Director in Singapore, you will be responsible for growing and delivering on some of Visa’s most strategic accounts in Singapore.

In this role, you are expected to:

• Cultivate and own strategic relationships with Visa’s clients and partners (issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, etc) end-to-end, from opportunity identification and business development through to project delivery and realization of business outcomes
• Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership teams, bringing an informed point of view on emerging areas including industry trends, competitive dynamics, customer behaviour, payments innovation and digital transformation
• Lead advisory engagements from problem definition through analysis, recommendation development, implementation planning and execution support, ensuring recommendations translate into measurable business impact and client satisfaction
• Develop and convert advisory opportunities through a consultative sales approach, leveraging Visa's data, assets, products and expertise to create compelling client value propositions
• Collaborate closely with Client Account Executives and other cross-functional teams within Visa to drive joint account plans and deepen Visa's strategic relevance within key accounts
• Identify opportunities to combine advisory, analytics, implementation and Visa capabilities into integrated client solutions that drive business outcomes
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, providing guidance, coaching and quality assurance across engagements
• Drive thought leadership on topics across the payments ecosystem, e.g. customer acquisition, portfolio growth, digital banking, agentic commerce, wealth, commercial payments, loyalty, risk, AI and emerging payment innovations.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of payments experience gained within banks, cards or payment providers, fintechs, or related industries
• Proven track record of owning strategic client relationships and delivering commercial outcomes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with demonstrated experience leveraging data, market intelligence and business insights to diagnose challenges, identify growth opportunities and develop actionable recommendation
• Experience working directly with C-suite and senior executives, influencing decisions and driving alignment across stakeholders
• Highly collaborative nature with experience working with geographically distributed teams
• Connect data streams to create clear narratives, guide development of storyboards, templates, and visuals
• Draft proposals, lead pitches, and collaborate with partners
• Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
