Job summary

National University Health System is seeking a Patient Service Associate to handle frontline counter services for NUHS Diagnostics Clinics. You will check patient service requirements, manage queues, assist with appointment bookings, and provide administrative support to medical technologists and radiographers.

You will verify patient identifiers, schedule appointments, register mammogram patients via the Breast Screen Singapore portal, and handle payments and Medisave transactions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for reception of all appointment and walk-in patients at the Diagnostics counters.
• Ensure patient identifiers (NRIC & Name) are verified for registration and tests ordered by doctors.
• Accurate appointment scheduling / registration for mammogram patients via BSS portal.
• Registration of mammogram patients via BSS portal and update of patient details.
• Communicate instructions to patients prior to procedures and chaperone as needed.
• Handle enquiries and provide prompt and courteous service to internal and external customers.
• Responsible for payment collection when cashier duties apply and reconcile end-of-day sales.
• Ensure Medisave forms and transactions are captured accurately in EASIPOS.
• Apply promotions and discounts and validate using EASIPOS.
• Support administrative functions to the centre in-charge including dispatching reports and records.
• Perform duties as assigned by reporting officer and meet KPIs.
• Follow policy/SOP and assist with patient relations.
