Job summary

STMicroelectronics Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking a Device Engineer to collaborate with process and quality teams to improve yield and reliability. The role involves communicating module issues to Fab engineering and leadership, and working with Process Engineers to maximize efficiency and device performance.

The position requires a degree in electrical/electronic/materials/physics with 2–3 years of related experience or higher, and a solid foundation in fabrication processes, reliability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/advanced degree in electrical/electronic/materials/physics.
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes, probe, backend and reliability implications.
  • Understanding of statistical process controls.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with process and quality teams to improve yield and reliability.
  • Communicate module related issues to the Fab engineering and leadership teams.
  • Work with Process Engineers to develop processes to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Optimize current processes to improve manufacturability, yield and performance of products.
  • Interact and coordinate with product engineering and process team to resolve yield and quality issues.
  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments to improve fab process, yield, and quality.
  • Collect and interpret complex data to optimize Fab processes and increase yields.
  • Engage and/or lead cross-area engineering teams to solve process issues.
