Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Singapore seeks an engineer to join our world-class fabrication and process teams and help improve yield, reliability, and manufacturability of semiconductor products. You will collaborate with process, quality, and product groups to drive improvements across the fab and product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical, electronic, material, physics or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Structural and process integration knowledge preferred
• Knowledge of fabrication processes, probe, backend and reliability implications preferred
• Understanding of statistical process controls
• Understanding of basic device physics in deciphering product performance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and data reporting ability

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with process and quality teams to improve yield and reliability.
• Communicate module related issues to the Fab engineering and leadership teams.
• Work with Process Engineers to develop processes to maximize operational efficiency.
• Optimize current processes to improve manufacturability, yield and performance of products.
• Interact and coordinate with product engineering and process team to resolve yield and quality issues.
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments to improve fab process, yield, and quality.
• Collect and interpret complex data to optimize Fab processes and increase yields.
• Engage and/or lead cross-area engineering teams to solve process issues.
