Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Singapore seeks a hands-on engineer to manage wafer fabrication processes and provide real-time operations support. You will own operational issues on the production line, drive high yield, low cost, and ensure quality through collaboration with maintenance, shift engineers and supervisors.

The role requires 1–2 years in wafer fabrication or semiconductor manufacturing, strong communication, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in MS Office and relevant SPC/DOE

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical, Mechatronics, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage a cost effective manufacturing process in wafer fabrication with real-time problem analysis and solutions.
• Maintain day-to-day manufacturing activities to achieve high yield, low cost, and quality targets.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Production Supervisors and Shift Engineers to meet targets.
• Perform quality tasks and support Process Engineer improvements and efficiency.
• Escalate abnormalities to Process Engineer and follow up on lots on hold.
